Payment - We accept credit cards, cash, and company checks. A booking fee or deposit may be requested in advance to reserve your date and time. All other charges are due upon our arrival on the day of the event.
Overrun - Through no fault of your own, more guests may show up for your event than you anticipate. How it is handled is your call; you may determine whether to have additional guests painted or not. You are responsible for the originally agreed amount plus any additional time/guests.
Rescheduling - Should you need to reschedule or cancel your event, please do so as early as possible. When rescheduling, we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.
Supervision - Please understand, under no circumstances will we supervise children. We give our full attention to the guest being painted, so please make sure an adult is around to keep an eye on the kiddos.
Liability/Limitations Statement - Mini Art Face Painting is not liable for allergic reactions to paints. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the party. If an allergic skin reaction should occur, paint should be removed immediately. For sanitary reasons, Artists will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, any infectious skin condition or open wounds; these determinations are at the Artist’s discretion. Artists will use reasonable care, but are not responsible for damage to clothing or property. For safety reasons, Artists will not paint children under 2 years old or anyone who is unwilling. If in public, Artists will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose or anyplace she does not feel comfortable painting. In addition, Artists will not paint subject matter she deems offensive or disturbing.
Photo consent and release - By having your guests face painted and photographed, permission is thereby granted to use images for our portfolio and marketing materials, such as printed brochures, social media, or website gallery images. No names are ever revealed by Mini Art Face Painting for any reason. If for any reason you do not agree, please inform us and you and your guests' privacy will be respected.
Parking - Please either leave a space open in front of the house on the street, the driveway, or a loading dock so Artist(s) can unload equipment. You are responsible to reimburse Mini Art Face Painting for any parking fees; all fees must be paid on the day of the event.
Setup - Approximately 10 minutes is needed for set up and tear down. Painting area should include: adequate lighting, access to a restroom, and two chairs per Artist. For outdoor set ups, please provide a shaded area or canopy. We can provide a 10'x10' canopy for an additional $25. Please choose an area for the Artist(s) that is away from DJ's, bands and aggressive activities.
Working conditions - If you have an outdoor event planned, you are responsible to provide an alternate indoor location in case of inclement weather; and you agree to pay the full booking amount once the Artists have arrived at the event location. Artists have the right to cease painting and leave without refund if there are extreme adverse working conditions and you fail to remedy the situation after it has been brought to your attention. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, pet or adult; illegal activities; or dangerous outdoor conditions including lightning and severe weather. You agree to pay for any injuries and/or damage to Artist’s equipment or supplies caused by pets, lawn sprinklers, or guests.
